CHILDREN'S POSTER, COLORING AND
ESSAY CONTESTS

Scarsdale,
NY - To coincide with National Children's Dental Health Month which takes place
in February, Diamond Dental, PC, located at 10 Dunwoodie Street in Scarsdale,
NY, announced plans to sponsor children's poster, coloring and essay contests
for area youngsters to foster awareness about the importance of regular dental
checkups. Invitations have gone out to several schools, but the contests are
open to all children. Winners will be announced February 28th and will be feted
at Diamond Dental's "Open House" scheduled for Sunday, March 5, 2000.
Visitors will have an opportunity to see the winning entries, tour the newly
established offices and meet Dr. George Lee and Dr. Danny Salem. Winners will
receive free dental screenings, savings bonds, certificates of achievement and
an assortment of other gifts.
Drs. Lee and Salem also plan visits to school
classrooms making presentations to youngsters, while also extending invitations
to tour their dental office - all in an effort to alleviate children's
trepidation about visiting the dentist. Advocating education and
familiarization, Drs. Lee and Salem are participating in the American Dental
Association's outreach designed to bring awareness to youngsters and their
families.
Drs. Lee and Salem, 1998 honor graduates of
Columbia University, School of
Dental arid Oral Surgery, have recently opened their comprehensive
practice bridging dental and medical considerations following their training at
some of the area's most prestigious medical centers including North Shore
University Hospital, Sloan Kettering, Columbia Presbyterian, Mount Sinai and
Hackensack University Hospital among others.
